Elizabeth Beachy, MHS
Elizabeth is one of Upleaf's co-founders and spent nearly 8 years at Upleaf helping clients define and execute their digital strategies. After stepping back from her role as CEO in early 2017, Elizabeth now pitches in as needed to help ensure that Upleaf's clients' digital strategies meet or surpass their goals.
Elizabeth has worked in or with the nonprofit sector her entire professional life. Her suite of specialized skills includes social and digital marketing, strategic communication and evaluation. She holds a Master’s of Health Sciences degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health with a focus on health communication and evaluation, and an undergraduate liberal arts degree in pyschology and anthropology.
Prior to founding Upleaf, Elizabeth spent seven years at Population Services International honing her skills in multiple technical and executive management positions. She also worked for several years as a consultant for large international nonprofits including FHI360, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs.
Elizabeth is fully fluent in Spanish and French and has strong proficiency in Portuguese and Haitian Creole.
