La Vida Felicidad, Inc. (LVF) is a social service organization in central New Mexico, dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and families, adults and seniors.
LVF helps adults with developmental disabilities lead an active life, offers speech and motor therapies to children age birth to three years, operates a four-star childcare center, assists seniors in procuring the support and care they need to remain in their homes, and provides respite and support for family caregivers.
More than 1,000 people a year receive LVF services thanks in large part to their team of 200+ employees and contractors who provide home care and other services.
Our Work for this Client
La Vida Felicidad (LVF) approached Upleaf in 2011 to develop a new website for the organization. Their old website was awkward to navigate, visually unappealing (heavy on text and light on visuals), and failed to convey a clear sense of what the organization did and who their beneficiaries were.
Upleaf worked closely with LVF to clearly define their audience (donors, potential and current employees, beneficiaries) and core messaging, and to plot out the site content design in a way that was easy to navigate.
We launched a new design concept that incorporated central New Mexico character in the adobe-wall texture of the site and played off the "Mi Vida-My Life" slogan with a photo album motif.
The site was also tailored for functionality. We included a place for the large team of employees to access the organization's internal calendar of events, and streamlined the online job application process.
