Mission: Graduate is a collaborative program with many different partners, spearheaded by United Way of Central New Mexico.
The program's vision is to create a world-class, seamless and coordinated education system that provides equitable opportunities for all children and youth to excel and succeed in school, graduate with a post-secondary certificate or degree, and enter a career of their choosing in central New Mexico.
The program's main goal is to help students obtain 60,000 new college degrees and certificates in Central New Mexico by 2020.
Our Work for this Client
Mission:Graduate came to Upleaf looking for more than just a new look & feel for their website. Their team was seeking a website that would seamlessly integrate with a CRM system and help the program manage a large number of partnerships, activities, sponsors, and interactions.
Upleaf used Drupal and CiviCRM to build the website infrastructure, which now enables Mission:Graduate to host community events, news, strategies, research, resources, partners, sponors and more on their site. These items were built as separate content types yet cross-reference around six educational steps of the Cradle-to-Career path. Each respective step along the path has its own landing page that streams related networks, councils, resources, research and more.
Partners can now submit their partnership agreements, track volunteer time, register for events, submit resources to share with the community - all online and with minimal involvement from Mission:Graduate staff.
Visitors can browse through the wealth of information that Mission:Graduate offers and find enriching educational resources. Armed with a powerful coalition of partners across Central New Mexico and a robust online infrastructure, they are well on their way to meeting the goal of 60,000 new career-ready graduates!
Constituent Relationship Management Systems
Mission:Graduate's integrated CRM system helps the program:
- Manage partners and sponsors
- Verify whether partners remain active with the program
- Collect event registration online and manage events
- Send mass emails
- Track volunteer hours partners put in
- Track outreach activities implemented by partners
- Track partnership commitment form submissions & renewals
- Monitor and track interactions with many different contacts
By implementing a "self-service" system whereby partners can simply log into the website and input their volunteer hours and outreach activities, Mission:Graduate is able to keep close tabs on the coalition's many efforts across Central New Mexico.
This helps the program stay focused on community engagement, eliminate tedious manual data entry tasks, and strengthen their partnerships across the region.
