Who's On Facebook?
Seventy-nine percent of all online American adults, with 76% of those users checking their account daily. The most common age group at 29.7% of users are between the ages 25-34 and five new profiles are created every second.
Among teens, the total number of users remains high, according to Pew Research Center surveys. While focus group interviews suggest that this age group's relationship with Facebook is complicated and may be evolving, they are not yet abandoning the site.
